Robert Wilson

The Students’ Union is run by an elected team of students called the Executive Committee. The President of Coventry University Students’ Union (CUSU) has overall responsibility for the Executive Committee, bars & entertainments, Union democracy & finances and all Union staff. The President’s main role is to represent students at all levels of the University by sitting on the Board of Governors – the highest decision making body within the University.

To make this possible I will be looking to work with the University and other elected officers to ensure all student issues that can be resolved, are resolved. The Union will undoubtedly affect your experience here at Coventry University, whether you’re taking part in our ever improving range of sports and societies, heading to fiftyfour for a cheap and safe night out, looking for invaluable work experience as a volunteer with Horizon or after confidential advice about anything from our brilliant advice centre.

I meet regularly with the senior managers at the University to talk about student related issues and be a voice for the students. The more students that get actively involved with CUSU the louder that voice is. Thanks to the strong relationship with senior managers at the University they are eager to listen and make changes where appropriate.

If you have any likes or dislikes during you time at Coventry, regardless of how big or small, get in touch either by phone, e-mail or pop in to see me in the SU on Priory Street.
