► Freshers' Pass Terms and Conditions
Freshers Pass 2011 Terms & Conditions
Passes are only available to Coventry University students (of all years). Any non- Coventry students purchasing them will not be permitted access to the venue and will not be given a refund.
1. Passes can be purchased online at www.cusu.org with a valid credit/debit card, over the phone by calling the SU Reception on 024 7765 5200 with a valid credit/debit card and in person at the Students ‘ Union Reception from Tuesday 30th August with a valid credit/debit card or cash.
2. Only current students of Coventry University may purchase or use a pass.
3. You must be over 18 to use or purchase a pass.
4. You must have a valid passport or driving licence to purchase and use a pass (International Driving Licences are not a valid form of identification).
5. All holders are subject to the Coventry University Students’ Union Constitution, Policies and Procedures.
6. CUSU retains the right to refuse entry/service at any time without notice and without compensation.
7. Passes cost £75 including VAT and give free entry to the bearer to selected CUSU organised or affiliated Freshers’ Fortnight events where advertised from Saturday the 24th September to Sunday the 7th October 2011 however entry to events using a Freshers’ Pass must be gained before 11.30pm for non cinema events otherwise the entrance price may be charged.
8. Due to capacity limitations of venues that we use entry is on a strictly first come first served basis. This means that you may be asked to queue and may not be admitted. Early entry is advised in to avoid disappointment.
9. Your Freshers Pass entitles you to free entry to all Square One cinema shows, however as capacity is extremely limited you are advised to attend the CUSU Box Office in advance to collect a free ticket which will reserve your seat.
10. Students must collect their pass in the form of a wristband from Students' Union Reception on Saturday 24th September and must be in the queue by 15:30pm to guarantee you will receive your pass that day, otherwise you will be sent away disappointed
11. CUSU reserve the right to change/cancel events without notice
12. You must bring your email confirmation along with photographic ID (Coventry University Card, Drivers Licence or Passport to prove that you are the valid holder.
13. Please note that for the Square One Cinema and Comedy nights there is limited seating and Freshers’ Pass holders are not guaranteed a seat for these events. They will be admitted on a first come, first served basis only. CUSU will do its best to give all Freshers’ Pass holders priority, however no refunds or partial refunds are available if a Freshers Pass holder does not get a seat on the night for these events.
14. It is the responsibility of the holder to look after their wristband. If a band comes off, it becomes invalid. In the event that the wristband accidentally comes off, the holder should bring the complete wristband to Students' Union Reception, where it may be possible to get a replacement. Without a complete wristband, this will not be possible. In any case, no refund will be available.
