Sport and Societies Committee's

Each area has a group of elected students who are there to help the development of the area. The committees were elected at the end of the 10/11 academic year at new club committee training. Each of the individuals nominated themselves for a position on the committee and were succesfully elected to the role.

The committee's meet seperately once a month along with the VP Student Activities, and the Sport and Societies Development Manager. The committees are there to keep the views and voices of students heard and help to run events and make a difference to your student experience.

Each committee will have 2 more students elected to it in October at the Annual Student Meeting (ASM). If this is something you would be interested in make sure your there.

 

The Societies Committee:

Ross Campbell - HIPSOC

Michelle Bailey - East Asian Film

Adam Ferneyhaugh - Medieval

Imogen Reeves - Students in Business

Vithushan Vasanth - Hindu
