► How to get involved
Sign up, you can do this by:
Filling in our Online-Registration Form here

Choosing a project - Things to consider:
How much time do you have to commit?
What are your interests?
What do you enjoy?
What type of activity would you like to do?
Do you want to work with a specific group?
What skills do you have that you may want to use?
What skills would you like to gain?
What do you hope to achieve?
Do you want to do something related to your course? If so, you will need to consider what kind of voluntary activities might support this. Unfortunately, we do not know all about your course and would suggest you speak to your personal tutor or careers guidance to help you with this.
Pick an opportunity
See the Opportunities Directory on this website for more detailed information and a full list of on-going volunteering projects.
Visit CUSU Volunteering and Employability, where we have a dedicated team of staff to support you to find the right volunteering experience for you.
Read our weekly ‘Opportunity Updates’ which you will receive each Friday via email once you have signed up.
Application process
Once you have decided on a volunteering opportunity you will be advised of the individual process for each project. Please note: all volunteers must attend a volunteer training and induction session offered by CUSU Volunteering and Employability. These sessions will help prepare you for your volunteering and answer any questions you may have.
