Volunteering and Employability Drop-ins
All drop-in sessions will take place week commencing Monday 3rd October on the first floor of the Hub. Please check in room 1.24 for the exact location as the drop-in space will change from week to week.
Community Volunteering
For any specific community volunteering advice, help with choosing a volunteering opportunity, or to discuss student led volunteering project ideas come along to see the Community Volunteering Co-ordinator, every Tuesday 10am – 12pm.
Schools Volunteering
For all enquiries relating to volunteering in a school, whether it be how to get involved, what you can do, the training we offer or how to set up your own project in a school, come and see the Schools Volunteer Co-ordinator, every Monday 11am – 1pm.
Level 1 (A102CSU)
If you are on the above Volunteering in Schools module and you would like to discuss your coursework please feel free to visit your module leader during a drop-in which is held every Wednesday 3pm - 4pm in the Hub.
Criminal Records Bureau (CRB)
Please check with the organisation you will be volunteering with if you need a CRB check and if they will process it or not. Volunteering and Employability will process the CRB check for people volunteering in a school.
If you need to complete a CRB please contact us to arrange a suitable time to come in and complete the form. Click here to see the list of ID you must bring with you.
