The project aims to help students to improve their spoken, written, and reading of English, which incorporates the use of IT to enhance this process.  In addition, the project helps students settle into their new communities, a programme of specialist speakers provide presentations about their organisation and the service(s) they provide.

The role includes:

•           Assisting students find resources to develop their classroom work. For e.g., directing students to libraries, internet sites and places within Coventry that could help them develop project work assigned in class.

•           Reinforcing spoken English by conversation practice and building up students’ confidence to communicate in English.

Volunteers would be required from 10am – 12pm every Friday. Teaching experience is preferred, but not necessary, as the tutor will give support, advice, and guidance.
