► What is CUSU?

Coventry University Students' Union (CUSU) in The Hub

Coventry University Students’ Union (CUSU) represents your voice within the University but it is also much more. It is a place to make new friends, discover new things and find new passions. On top of the sports, volunteering and employability opportunities, social clubs, sports teams and entertainment, CUSU is there to offer you advice, support and the chance to campaign on issues you feel strongly about.

You can find CUSU in The Hub, a new building at the heart of the campus and Coventry’s city centre. It is a place to meet, relax and unwind as well as to access the University and Students’ Union services.

CUSU is an independent charity, seperate from the University. It is democratic and your voice is represented by four elected student officers (often called sabbs), four faculty chairs and then a larger elected body of student representatives sitting as the Student Council. The sabbs are there to help you and will often be your first port of call if you need to speak to someone so feel free to pop by their office (on the first floor of The Hub, next to the food court) and introduce yourself.
