What is the CUSU Advice Centre?
The CUSU Advice Centre is a free and confidential advice service for potential and current students.
We aim to give the best possible advice to all our students and this sometimes means referring you to another agency that can provide more appropriate help.
The CUSU Advice Centre deals with many areas of student concern including:
- Financial support signposting
- Academic issues
- Housing issues
- Employment rights
- Disability issues
- Childcare issues
- Hate crime reporting
You might worry that you’re the first person to encounter a particular problem but you’re probably not. We deal with thousands of enquiries every year so we’re sure to have met others facing a similar situation.

SUAC is open all year round. Appointments can be booked by phone or email. Open appointment slots are available between 10 and 1, Monday to Friday.

We have 15 minute appointment slots available from 10am - 1pm each weekday. Slots are booked on a first-come-first-served basis and can be booked in person at CUSU Reception on the First Floor of TheHub or by phone on 024 776 55200.
We recommend contacting to book your appointment earlier in the day rather than later to ensure you're able to see an adviser.
