The Office for Students (OfS) has allocated additional funding to universities to support students who are experiencing financial hardship as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic. The Coventry University Group’s OfS COVID Hardship fund is now ready to distribute to students.
Applications are open NOW, and you may be eligible to receive financial support of up to £2,500.
We anticipate very large demand for this fund so please apply as soon as possible. No applications will be accepted beyond 4pm on 28th February 2021. However, applications may close early, as soon as the fund total has been reached.

Who Can Apply?
All students* who have been financially affected by the pandemic are welcome to apply.
However, we strongly encourage applications from the following student groups who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic:-
- Disabled Students
- Care Experienced / Leavers
- Students with children/dependents
- Students from low-income backgrounds
- Students estranged from their parents/carers
- Students experiencing loss of financial sponsorship
*Students on access courses or any level 3 qualification, are not eligible to apply

No, you are not eligible to apply, but you may be able to access alternative support. Check out the student portal funding page.
