Can you think of an innovative way to find and attract Black and Bi-Racial Future Influencers, Leaders and Entrepreneurs?

Is it an ad campaign? A change in curriculum? A buddy or mentor scheme? Something else entirely?

The African Caribbean Centre of Excellence (ACCE) want to know what you think. On the 18th October pitch your idea to a panel of leaders, influencers, and entrepreneurs at an event in conjunction with BBC Midlands Today, Coventry University, and CUSU.

If you think you know how to ensure the potential black and bi-racial influcers of tomorrow get the opportunities submit your idea below to be pitched to the panel. The three winning pitches will be mentored by members of the panel for 12 months to help them shape and realise their ambition.

Black to the Future takes place in EC1-129 (Engineering & Computing) on 18th October, 12:00-14:30 (doors open from 11:30).

On the day you'll deliver your idea to the panel in a 2-3 minute pitch. Use this form to submit a brief outline for your pitch.

By submitting your pitch you consent to your outline and contact details being shared with ACCE, CUSU, and Coventry University.

 

Your pitch will be delivered in front of an audience and filmed for BBC Midlands Today, ACCE, Coventry University, and CUSU. By submitting a pitch you agree to be filmed delivering your pitch and to be interviewed on camera by one or more of the participating groups. Still photos may also be captured by the participating groups to be used for promotional purposes.
