The incredible CUSU Summer Ball is returning to Coventry Cathedral Ruins for it's fifth year on Friday 10th May 2019, and tickets are on sale now!
The Summer Ball is an annual unmissable event for all Coventry University students; combining chart-topping acts with a festival stage production inside Coventry's incredible Cathedral Ruins - plus there's a free funfair with unlimited rides included in your ticket!
Tickets are on sale now and are exclusively available to Coventry University students and their guests.

2019 HEADLINER: SIGALA!
We bring you one of the UK’s most respected and influential electronic music producers with 7 platinum singles, 8 million worldwide sales, almost 11 million monthly listeners on Spotify and over a BILLION total streams under his belt.

Afrobeat infused instrumentals and harmonious choruses laced with sultry and smoky vocals are some of the many elements ZieZie experiments with in his music which caters to a wide range of tastes. Fine Girl was the 2018 sound of the summer, Chop My Money (with Ill Blu, Krept & Konan and Loski) took off later in the year and, most recently, ZieZie's single Sensei has been a club smash.
Second Support Artist: DAN CAPLEN!
Dan Caplen's career has gotten off to an amazing start. Not only has he already released multiple critically acclaimed singles and a brilliant EP, Badman, but he's also worked with the likes of Macklemore, Jess Glynne and Rudimental as the male vocalist on 'These Days' - an Official UK Number One, no less!
He powers big tracks, like These Days, and caresses his masterpiece cover of The Streets, Blinded By The Lights, with equal talent. His incredible, soulful vocals are perfectly poised to take the Summer Ball up a level. Then you'll need to keep an eye on this one... his future looks incredibly bright.
Third Support Artist: ELIZA AND THE BEAR!
Eliza and the Bear didn’t plan to be a band. Not a real band, at any rate. The Essex quintet had no intention of releasing records, never mind making an album. Hence, the band began as a hobby, a weekly meet-up of mates who loved making music, but only for fun. Which is important to know - because it’s key to understanding their sound.
It’s why their songs are so joyous and their lyrics life-affirming. It’s why their trumpets are triumphant and their strings soar. It’s why their all-inclusive choruses demand to be sung back, why festival audiences adore them and why their singles have been synced everywhere from Sky Movies, a Masterchef final and the BBC’s Olympics coverage to a cider advert. It’s why, whether you know it or not, you’ve heard their music.

COVENTRY CATHEDRAL RUINS
If you don’t already know, Coventry’s bombed-out Cathedral Ruins is the home of the CUSU Summer Ball. Every year we transform the Ruins in to an incredibly unique event space with a full festival-style production, a Clearspan Marquee, full-service bars and street food traders bringing in tastes from around the world. It is completely different to any other venue! What a place to celebrate the end of the year...
Having sold out three years in a row and featured the likes of Example, Tinie Tempah, Yxng Bane and, most recently, Pendulum, it is the BIGGEST event of the year; don't miss out.
