Adapted by Emteaz Hussain from the Alex Wheatle’s Guardian Children’s Fiction Prize-winning YA novel, Crongton Knights will be co-directed by Pilot Theatre Artistic Director Esther Richardson, together with Corey Campbell, Co-Artistic Director of the Belgrade Theatre for 2021 and Artistic Director of Strictly Arts.
Physical theatre and an innovative beatbox soundscape will bring the pulse of the city to life in this coming-of-age adventure, featuring original compositions by Battersea Arts Centre Beatbox Academy’s Conrad Murray, whose recent show Frankenstein: How To Make A Monster received massive acclaim and played to sell-out audiences at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe.
