National Theatre has launched a new way for audiences to access its productions online while it is closed.
London’s National Theatre has announced that starting April 2, every Thursday at 7 p.m. GMT, they will release a recorded piece of British theatre on Youtube as part of their new initiative, “National Theatre at Home.” Each production will be available to watch for a week.
The programme will start off with One Man, Two Guvnors starring James Corden as Francis Henshall. This comedy, written by Richard Bean, tells the tale of Francis Henshall who is employed by two different men. He must prevent them from meeting so that they do not figure out they both employ him. This play, which was recorded live in 2011, will begin streaming April 2.
