Coventry Foodbank need volunteers to help to weigh, sort and store donated food before it’s made into parcels for clients to collect. Come along and join us on Wednesday 1st June to get involved.
Volunteers are the driving force behind foodbanks. There are thousands of volunteers across the UK, helping The Trussell Trust Foodbank Network get emergency food to people in crisis. We want you to enjoy volunteering and there are lots of ways to get involved.
You will be making a real difference to the life of someone in crisis.
By participating in the event you will develop key volunteering skills such as teamwork, communication, organisation, time management and creativity. To recognise these skills after completion you will be rewarded with a 'Volunteer Attendance' Badge. This can be displayed on your LinkedIn and showcased to future employers.
