The Housing Fair
Housing is a big part of student life, affecting anyone who’s living away from home to study. We want to make sure you can put all your focus into your studies (and the odd night out of course!) which is why we want to make sure living away from home is as simple and stress-free as possible.
The Housing Fair brings all your housing needs to one place.
With over 50 stalls you’re sure to find the answers you need, plus our advisors will be on hand, whether you want your contracts looking over, want to know more about your rights and responsibilities or want to know exactly what happens to your deposit, our advisors have it covered.
When, where, and who?
The Housing Fair takes place on Thursday 31st January in the Hub from 11am–3:30pm. We’ll have a variety of organisations for you to talk to from the council, to accommodation providers, to our Communities and more! If you live in rented accommodation you do not want to miss out.
Make sure you also have a look through our site to get some useful hints and tips on your housing, we have information on your rights and responsibilities, council tax, deposits, cleaning, where to live and more! If you need any further advice or support you can get in touch with our Students’ Union Advice Centre, they’re more than happy to support you through your student journey and have even more housing advice on their pages.
They can also help with a variety of other issues so if you want to find out more about what they do head over to their section of the website.
