Your empty crisp packets don't have to go to landfill.
Crisp packets are difficult to recycle as they are a fusion of plastic and aluminium foil. But, good news, you can now recycle them on campus. The collection box is located on the ground floor under the middle set of stairs.
The collected crisp packets will be sent to a depot in the UK where they’re melted down/chipped and turned into other items such as watering cans, dustbins, benches - keeping them out of landfill. The good news continues; all the money raised from recycling goes to Ellie's Fund and is spent on brain tumour research projects in Yorkshire. Read more about Ellie's Story at elliesfund.com/recycling
