Unfortunately the GEM award cannot be awarded to teams or members of senior mangement, however please see below the lovely nominations for them for this term.
Becki has worked exceptionally hard over recent months managing the development of the business support unit, the hr team and the move across to Park House. Park House looks great and once the internet is in it will a great space for staff to work in. Oh and getting qualified as a mental health first aid instructor..... Having to stand and train us lot for two days wouldn’t be easy particularly with such a challenging and emotive topic. Very much deserves at least a nomination!
I really enjoyed this year's all staff meeting. I thought the added extras of the overall theme, information from posters and leaflets, the donuts (especially) and the expanded, engaging agenda made this meeting one of the best I've experienced whilst working here. It was refreshing overall and I'm looking forward to what's next.
Liam and Hannah are a really wonderful team who work incredibly hard, are always professional and positive! They are always willing to help and offer tireless support for our officers, students and other staff. During the Freshers Liam supported the student engagement team by driving the van around Coventry supporting with the loading and unloading of all Freshers roadshow equipment (not to mention his wonderful homemade coconut shy!). Hannah has produced an excellent Black History Month campaign, engaging with local colleges, artists and comedians, supporting the officers in running mental health based activities, cooking challenges, a panel talk and other fantastic events. Not only that but Hannah has already launched several campaigns, including raising over £150 for a hearing dogs charity, given out over 100 pronoun badges to staff and students. Both Liam and Hannah really deserve the GEM award, they are often far too busy to take a moment and recognise their achievements and I want to make sure they acknowledge how wonderful they are. I am very proud of them and the work they do!
