Vacancy: Business Support Coordinator

The Business Support Coordinator will provide integral co-ordination and delivery of business support operations at the Students’ Union, including administration of corporate and student governance and democratic events and student activities as well as campaign and representation at committees. In addition, you will support the delivery of an excellent customer service and enquiry management experience across internal and external stakeholders via our helpdesk and reception functions.

BUSINESS SUPPORT COORDINATOR

Salary £23,075 pa

The Business Support Coordinator will provide integral co-ordination and delivery of business support operations at the Students’ Union, including administration of corporate and student governance and democratic events and student activities as well as campaign and representation at committees.    In addition, you will support the delivery of an excellent customer service and enquiry management experience across internal and external stakeholders via our helpdesk and reception functions.

The role will suit an individual with a high level of attention-to-detail and organisation skills, with experience of office management and commitment to customer care combined with  experience of working within a governance and/or democratic environment  You will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will be committed, self-motivated, and adaptable and be able to work with minimum supervision. You will have proficient skills in Microsoft applications and will be able to demonstrate proof reading and organisational skills.  An ability to create and deliver training sessions would be advantageous.

This post is permanent, working full-time 37.5 hours per week, however a flexible approach to working hours is required.  Please note that this post will be working remotely initially, however when restrictions are lifted will be required to work on-site as required.
