We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to join our Finance Team at Coventry University Students Union.

The role will suit an individual with a high level of attention-to-detail and organisation skills, with experience of working within a similar role within finance.  You will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team.

The role will report to the Assistant Finance Manager and will be a key point of contact within the department.  You will be expected to process all financial data and take ownership of all financial queries. The role will be focused on tight deadlines and duties will include involvement in the production of management accounts, financial statements, budget preparation and forecasting meetings. 

The ideal candidate will be committed, self-motivated, and adaptable and be able to work with minimum supervision. You should be qualified to AAT Technician level 3 or be willing or currently working towards and be able to demonstrate proven numeracy and literacy and keyboard skills at a minimum of level 2. You will need to have strong Excel skills with experience of using finance systems in a finance role.

This post is permanent, working full-time 37.5 hours per week. A flexible approach to working hours is required.  Please note that this post will be working remotely initially, however when restrictions are lifted will be required to work on-site as required.
