Could you represent Coventry University on national television?
CUSU is running trials for a Coventry University team to enter University Challenge. The famous TV programme involves teams of students representing universities and colleges across the UK, competing in a quiz.
To be a candidate, you must match all of the conditions below:
- you are a student enrolled at Coventry University
- you will still be a student enrolled at Coventry University by May 2020 (i.e. you won't have graduated or ended your studies by that time)
- you study a recognised course at Coventry University
- you would be able to attend interviews with the programme producers in January
- you would be able to attend filming dates on the last weekends in February, March and April 2020
If you can meet all of these conditions, you are welcome attend the trials taking place this week!
EEC students should go to WM330 at 2pm on Wednesday 13th November.
FAH students should go to RC202 at 3pm on Thursday 14th November.
FBL students should go to WM332 at 2pm on Wednesday 13th November.
HLS students should go to RC317 at 3pm on Thursday 14th November.
Each Faculty's exam lasts one hour. Most questions come from previous editions of the University Challenge programme. A small number of questions have been created by staff at CUSU.
The highest scoring candidates will be contacted on Monday 18th November and invited to form a team.
