What is NUS?

As you know Coventry University Students Union is the student representative body to Coventry University. CUSU acts as a critical friend to the University and supports or looks for means of improvement accordingly.

The National Union of Students (NUS) is the unification of most Students Unions across the country. Where we work on a local level to solve students issues, the NUS look to work nationally to solve issues that affect the student community as a whole. NUS, like CUSU, has full time and part time elected officers that are tasked to work on issues affecting the student body, alongside their manifesto points.

NUS also will run campaigns on pivotal issues, providing resources and support to local Unions who may wish to engage. They work to influence national policy and make long last change through these actions.
