On Wednesday from 6-7pm in WM128 we will be joined by a legend of British investing - Mark Slater. Mark Slater is currently ranked by City Wire as the number 1 fund manager for UK equities, having achieved returns of 35.3% in 2019. He is the co-founder, Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of Slater Investments based in London. Slater Investments manages a hedge-fund, three unit trusts and multiple portfolios for pension schemes and high net worth individuals. Mark helped research and edit a best-selling investment book written by his father Jim Slater, and has been on the boards of four public companies. Mark has an MA in History from Cambridge University. We strongly encourage you to join us on Wednesday!
The Investment Society is looking to start our own investment fund called Phoenix Global Partners under the leadership of member Nirav Vakharia. If you are interested in boosting your CV by having a position within the fund then please meet Nirav in the trading floor (WMG34) this Friday at 6pm.
