The semester is in full swing and the Library is certainly getting busier as students begin to complete their assignments. As demand rises, the Library is keen to make sure that there are is plenty of space for students regardless of how they choose to study. Here's the latest information on accessing and using the library appropriately.
- First Floor is a silent zone. Students are all different, some prefer to study in groups others on their own. The library is keen to ensure there is a mix of spaces to suit all students so if you are looking to work in groups make use of the open spaces on the ground, second and third floors. If you do use the first floor for group work you may be asked to find a space elsewhere in the building.
- Electric Scooters cannot be taken in to the Library. Unfortunately students are not allowed to use electric scooters on campus therefore there isn't any storage facilties ofr this type of transport. Students will no longer be able to bring their electric scooter in to the library as it takes away valuable space where other students could be studying.
Remember as campus gets busy, that the Library is open 24 hours a day so make use of the quieter periods where you can.
