The International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHOBIT) on Friday 17 May raises awareness that although progress has been made, lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people still face prejudice and discrimination across the world today. The date of 17 May was specifically chosen to commemorate the World Health Organisation's decision in 1990 to declassify homosexuality as a mental disorder. At CUSU, we want to mark this day by asking you to speak up for LGBTQIA+ rights, and sign the stonewall pledge!
