With International Women's Day (March 8th) also falling on the first day of Green Week (March 8th - 14th), we are using the opportunity to highlight academics who are championing sustainability in their course teaching!
We are excited to share that this year International Women's Day (March 8th) also falls on the first day of Green Week! To mark this, we are using the opportunity to celebrate female academics (anyone who self-identifies as female) who are 'championing' sustainability in their course teaching. Now is your chance to nominate your lecturers and have them celebrated on International Women's Day!
You Told Us ...
In the NUS Skills Survey over 60% of students, including those from across the Coventry University group, told us that sustainable development is something they would like to learn more about. We know that so many of our wonderful academics have gone above and beyond to do just that by embedding different aspects of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into their teaching!
Now is your chance to put forward any female academics (anyone who identifies as female) who are championing any of the SDGs in their teaching. Nominate before 11.45pm (GMT) Thursday 4th March to have your lecturer and their work highlighted on International Women's Day. They will be featured online across our social media and webpage.
It is easy to nominate by filling out this quick online form!
