Student/Graduate School Placement Opportunities for September 2020: City Year UK

Students and recent Graduates from Coventry University have the opportunity to join our CSR partner charity City Year’s Leadership Programme. The one-year programme starts in September 2020 and involves working full-time in a Coventry school*. You will work with the most at-risk pupils to help improve their grades and behaviour through one to one coaching, classroom support and a range of other extra-curricular activities. You’ll also be part of the University’s CSR Programme, developing activities to engage local pupils with the university and campus.

As well as direct classroom experience, you will participate in weekly skills workshops and get a career development mentor from City Year’s corporate partners. This is a great opportunity to gain practical work experience, make a difference to the lives of young people and develop your professional skills to help when applying for future jobs, whether in the education sector or beyond.
