Go Green takes place from Monday 6th March – Sunday 12th March and is a chance for us to stop and think about how we can make small changes to make a big difference. This year we will be working alongside Coventry University, Coventry City Council and University of Warwick and Warwick Volunteers. So there’s going to be loads to get involved with! Keep an eye out for more information coming soon!
Throughout the week we’ll have various activities and stalls helping you discover more about being “green.” Learn how easy it is to be green and how big an impact a little change can be if we all make small changes.
Tuesday 7th March –11-2pm The Big Green Fair
Get yourself over to the ground floor of The Hub to get involved with our green stalls.
Wednesday 8th March 4-7pm– Model United Nations Summit
Climate change is something that is always discussed and debated and now you have the chance to have your say!
We will be holding a model UN summit with Coventry University Humanities Society and Model United Nations Society at Warwick Students ‘Union at the City Council, Council Chambers. If you would like to get involved , this is a great opportunity to experience what a UN Summit is like. Places are limited so make sure you register your place soon if you’re interested. We can all do our bit to help make Coventry an ever better place to live and that’s why we’re helping clean up Coventry. We’re helping clean out Coventry’s canal and we need your help! Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th March – 11am - 3pm - Student Wardens litter pick
Our Student Wardens are always hard at work, working with local residents and tidying up the city. For Go Green week they’ll be litter picking over the weekend in Earlsdon and Gosford Wards to get the local area looking clean and tidy.
