Hate Crime Champions

This opportunity is ongoing, with no end date. Applications closed on 15 Feb.

The role of a Hate Crime Champion is a great opportunity to help make a difference to the lives of students! It will enable you to put in motion a series of activities and support that will be embedded into the University policy and practice. You will be supporting the delivery of a campus wide ‘challenge report’ and ‘support culture' that ensures all students have a safe environment in which to study and live.

Training available

You will be provided with training on the following: bystander training, advice centre case studies, CUSU and the Student Safety Community, Police and Hate Crime training, and general rules and responsibilities.
