Coventry University Darts Club

Coventry Darts creates a social environment for people who like to play darts, but also have fun. We welcome everybody from every skill ability, whether you play regularly or have never played darts before. We aim to compete in various friendly matches throughout the year as well as the UDUK Big Weekender, although this should not put off those looking just to have a good time with a good bunch of people. We meet 3 times a week holding training sessions on Thursday and Sunday evenings, as well as a social event (usually) on Wednesdays.

Coventry University Darts Club was founded in June 2017 and has gained popularity by being nominated for the Best Small Club in the 2017/18 academic year. Our ambitious attitude pushed us to host our very own Coventry University Grand Slam in our first year, hosted at the prestigious club known as Kasbah. We challenged various sports teams to a darts tournament across the University, and the winner played our very own first team pair. Our participation in the UDUK Big Weekender also shows our confidence to go to a national tournament, playing against over 30 other established University teams, and still get team members going to the latter stages of the tournament.
