Activity Group Volunteer - Coventry

This opportunity is ongoing, with no end date. Applications closed on 20 Mar.

You will enable people affected by dementia to participate in a variety of meaningful activities in a social setting. From chatting and sharing memories to gardening, talking about current affairs and doing arts and crafts. Your support at the group will aim to reduce social isolation and contribute to the well being of people affected by dementia.

The role will suit you if you are friendly and caring with good verbal communication skills. You will enjoy meeting new people and be willing to learn about dementia and the impact it has on people affected by it. You will work within a team of volunteers with suppervision from a role manager, to deliver a group enabling people affected by dementia, to participate in activities and to meet others in a relaxed, supportive environment.
