Surf Mentor

This opportunity is ongoing, with no end date.

Volunteer surf mentor, supporting the young people at our surf therapy sessions, both in and out of the sea.

The Wave Project helps young people to enhance their wellbeing and life chances through surfing.

We give them the skills, confidence and the self-belief they need to achieve their goals.

As a volunteer, you are an ambassador for our charity. It is through your support that our students will be inspired to succeed.

Volunteer surf mentors, support the young people on our surf therapy courses, both in and out of the sea. Meeting them at the surf school, helping them to put on wetsuits and then being with them in the sea, giving support when needed and heaps of encouragement .

The most important thing you need to do as a Wave Project volunteer is to be yourself.
