Reading Festival Reading to Children/Mahoosive Student Storytime
This opportunity takes place on 23 Feb 2022
As part of City of Culture the libraries of Coventry (public, Warwick, CU) are hosting a number of reading events one of which is publically reading out loud to children throughout a day in February Half Term. We are asking for volunteers to read out loud for 10-20mins from a selected or favourite children’s book. It could be ‘We’re going on a bear hunt’ or Captain Underpants or Harry Potter.
Join the volunteer team in reading stories out loud to Coventry children.
Hours per week
One off volunteering Activity
On one day only: 23/02/22 10am-5pm – 10-20min slots – possibility to do more than one.
Librarians available to assist with book selection and some guidance on reading to a young audience
