Coventry University Dodgeball Club currently runs two teams, a men's and a woman's. the two teams compete in the University Dodgeball Leagues, with the teams winning the University Division 4 years ago. The club is open to anyone who wants to join, regardless of your experience or ability, with recreational membership being among the cheapest at the university. We pride ourselves on being a friendly and welcoming club with a very active social calendar which accommodates all members.
Becoming part of the CUDC isn’t just about becoming another member, it's like becoming part of a family. We have fantastic social events every Wednesday, and there’s a great team ethic and spirit within our squad, and we’d love for you to be a part of that. Everyone is welcoming and encouraging, and with recreational membership among the cheapest at the University, it's worth every penny. We’ve competed in the University leagues since 2017, often finishing in competitive places. 4 years ago, we won our first league title as a club as well as finishing 2nd in the Freshers Tournament. Additionally, we competed in Varsity for the first time in 2020!
We have two recreational training sessions and one team session per week, all of which are held at Priory Hall (Opposite the Cathedral). They are as follows:
Recreational: Tuesday 16:00-18:00 and Thursday 20:00-22:00
Competitive: Saturday 16:00-18:00
Socials: Wednesday at Ivy house from 8pm
