Celebrating the achievements of students, reps and staff within the School of Health and Care – Friday 22 March.

This award recognises a rep who has shown outstanding commitment to student voice, by representing feedback from their cohort through a range of feedback platforms such as Course Conversation meetings, focus groups, and roundtable events. The winner will also be someone who has used their time to tell students about the student voice activities and opportunities through one of our outreach programs.

This award recognises a School Rep who has shown outstanding commitment to student voice, by representing school wide issues on platforms such as Student Voice Working Groups, Board of Studies, and Education Executive.

This award recognises an Education Rep who has shown outstanding commitment to student voice, by successfully chairing and/or recording accurate minutes and supporting Course Reps during Course Conversation meetings.

This award recognises a Course Rep who has shown outstanding commitment to student voice, by bringing particularly detailed and precise feedback to meetings, and working outside of meetings to represent key feedback that matters to everyone in their cohort.

This award recognises a student currently completing their undergraduate degree who has extensively engaged with SU activities alongside their studies. These include but are not limited to activities associated with student voice, communities, societies, sports, volunteering, or wellbeing to bring positive change to their college’s student body.

This award recognises a student currently completing their postgraduate degree who has extensively engaged with SU activities alongside their studies. These include but are not limited to activities associated with student voice, communities, societies, sports, volunteering, or wellbeing to bring positive change to their college’s student body.

This award recognises an academic staff member who has made a huge contribution to improving students’ experience inside and outside the classroom. They are a motivating and inspiring teacher with passion for their subject. They have actively participated within the SU's student voice activities to resolve feedback promptly and improve student experience.

This award recognises a staff member who makes a huge contribution to students’ experience while not delivering the core curriculum in the classroom. This could include library, student support, IT, helpdesk, Talent Team, catering staff, or staff within the Students' Union.

Winner: Adam Kathawala

Course of the Year will be awarded to an academic course team who have championed student voice on their course and ensured student experience is at the forefront of everything they do. Students on the winning course will feel their contributions are valued and have collaborated with staff to improve delivery of the course.
