Horizon Volunteering works with schools, charities and community organisations to provide volunteering opportunities in a wide variety of roles.

We are dedicated to helping you to volunteer in the area of your choice which suits your individual needs, interests and time commitments. We are here to offer you information, advice, guidance and support throughout your volunteering experience. We’ll also reward your efforts with a Certificate of Recognition.

Volunteering can also be accredited and count towards your degree, if you take one of Horizon's volunteering modules under the University’s Add+vantage module scheme.

The Big Challenge is Horizon’s largest one off volunteering event which takes place each year during National Student Volunteering week. Horizon Volunteering join Warwick Volunteers to carry out one day volunteering projects across the city. This year is the seventh successive year that the two universities have come together for the Big Challenge. Over 70 volunteers took part and projects included winter clearance work with Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, tree planting at Rough Close Scouts Activity Centre, and mural painting at Wyken Croft Primary School.
