Societies Committee Application Form

Leonie

Leonie Francis

Hi, I'm Leonie and I am on the Societies Committee!

I applied for this role as I endeavour to ensure that societies get the recognition they deserve. Also, I aim to develop the growth of smaller societies. My current role in the West Indies Society (Co-President) helps me appreciate and acknowledge the progress of start-up societies so I hope all Societies know that in my role I will encourage societies to reach their maximum potential!

Aran Singh

Hi, my name is Aran!

I have experience acting as a voice for my fellow students from being elected onto the committee for multiple societies. My goals in doing so was to enhance the student experience here at Coventry University. I think that transparency, inclusivity and making sure things are representative are all great ideas. I want all societies to flourish and be the very best that they can possibly be. In my spare time I enjoy reading about history and different cultures and also socialising :D

Lousie Morton

My name is Louise and I am currently the vice-president of the geography society. I decided to become a part of the society committee this year as I would like the opportunity to be more involved with the university community and give all students a voice through their societies. Whether this be in aiding students to create new societies that represent what they want and who they are. Or through the development of existing societies to provide exciting events for their members.

I am really looking forward to the year ahead on the committee and can’t wait to get involved with the SU.
