University Support

The university has a dedicated page on the Student Portal for advice and support in relation to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

Students should use this page as a first point of reference for information from the university about COVID-19.

Students' Union Services

All Students Union services are still operating.

The Advice Centre (SUAC)

If you need advice, please email suadvice@coventry.ac.uk, provide your name, student ID number, a contact telephone number, and brief details about your issue. An advisor will contact you. We aim to respond to most enquiries within two working days.

We are not currently offering face-to-face appointments, though advisors will be available to attend hearings, and will be able to offer support via electronic communication.

What should I do if I feel ill?

If in the UK you should follow the guidance of the UK government and Public Health England.

The current advice is to stay at home if you have coronavirus symptoms. Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. There is no need to call 111 unless you feel unable to cope with your symptoms, your condition worsens, or your symptoms do not get better after 7 days. If you think you have the virus please contact the University Student Engagement Centre on 02477 656565.

If you are outside the UK you should follow the guidance of your local government.
