Hello, my name is Arsh and I am a Financial Economics student. I am running to be EFA School Rep because I have the drive and ambition to improve our School for a better future. I am confident in making this year our school’s best, and engaged with other schools within our and other faculties.
School Rep is vital as this is who represents students and implements your ideas within the school. You therefore need an experienced, dedicated person for this position, which I most certainly am.
My current positions:
- Senior Course Rep for Economics Undergraduate forum, 2nd year running (Nominated for the Undergraduate Student Forum of the Year 2017)
- NUS delegate 2017/18, 2nd year running
- Treasurer for Financial Trading Society (Nominated for Best Society Member 2017)
- Student Brand Manager/Ambassador for KPMG, HIREDGRAD and Circle
- Student Ambassador for Faculty of Business and Law, RAO and Alumni.
If elected, I aim to:
- Ensure everyone has the opportunity to contribute equally
- Ensure students’ voices are heard through the forums
- Involve students in decision-making by encouraging and promoting idea submissions to forums
- Ensure efficient meetings through clear structures and agendas
