NYASHA MUTEZO
WHO?
- My name is Nyasha Mutezo and I’m a current Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management Student
- Moved back to England from Qatar where I then became an active member of CUSU council
WHAT DO I WANT TO DO?
- Reduce the division within EEC – it’s clear within this faculty that there is a great divide between the schools and by reducing this divide and improving communication between them, I feel that this will help students have a better experience
- Ensure that students have the opportunity to gain more international experiences throughout the duration of their courses
- Improve the Echo360 app to better the experience members all across the EEC faculty
- Target issues regarding study spaces and try to incorporate more working areas in the various EEC faculty buildings
WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I HAVE?
- Previous Senior Prefect and Honour Student
- Head of House – Organising 300 students ranging from Year 7-Year 13. I organised various events and meetings in this role
- Former Head of Student Council
- Current Head of the CUSU Black, Asian and Ethnic Minority Committee (BAME)
