WHO?

  • My name is Nyasha Mutezo and I’m a current Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management Student
  • Moved back to England from Qatar where I then became an active member of CUSU council

WHAT DO I WANT TO DO?

  • Reduce the division within EEC – it’s clear within this faculty that there is a great divide between the schools and by reducing this divide and improving communication between them, I feel that this will help students have a better experience
  • Ensure that students have the opportunity to gain more international experiences throughout the duration of their courses
  • Improve the Echo360 app to better the experience members all across the EEC faculty
  • Target issues regarding study spaces and try to incorporate more working areas in the various EEC faculty buildings

WHAT EXPERIENCE DO I HAVE?

  • Previous Senior Prefect and Honour Student
  • Head of House – Organising 300 students ranging from Year 7-Year 13. I organised various events and meetings in this role
  • Former Head of Student Council
  • Current Head of the CUSU Black, Asian and Ethnic Minority Committee (BAME)
