Who am I?
I am Anniela Halley, currently studying Civil Engineering in my 2nd year. I started my journey in Coventry University as a Course Rep then progressed to a Senior Course Rep in my 2nd year. Representing the students’ issues on my course and informing students of any changes to the course.
Plans for Academic year
- Meet regularly with Head and Associate Head of School to ensure progress is made from arising issues in student forums.
- Form a community within the School
Organize an activity day in which both students and teachers in the ECE school can come together and have an interactive and fun day.
- Improve Course Reps feedback to students
Improve how course reps give feedback to students on the course. Majority of students on the course do not know anything that goes on in the student rep system.
- Encourage the use of ECO 360 within the EEC school
Encourage more teachers to record their lectures and students to use the recordings for revision.
- Promote the Rep system and its advantages across the university.
Encourage more students to join the rep system by advertising it more across the university.
- Ensure Reps that have participated and contributed collects a certificate at the end of the academic year.
