Personal Statement – School Rep Role
Back home in India I founded and co-directed a non-profit organisation named The Giving Monks. We fed the homeless every Sunday, supported and sponsored the education of homeless and children from underprivileged backgrounds, visited blind home, old age home and took part and conducted many other activities. Being in the role of a volunteer and at the same time directing those activities gave me an appreciation for life and developed me as a person and prepared me for this race we all call life.
With those exact skills acquired, and passion instilled in me, I will try my best to make sure that all students love and make the most out of their time at Coventry University. My goal, will be to make sure that all students have equal and fair opportunities to get involved in relevant internships, get additional and relevant qualifications to stand-out to prospective employers and prepare you for the life we all call a race with a smile on your face.
