As a student of the HLS faculty I have a vested interest in its current and future evolution.

My plans for the department are as follows:

• Gathering ideas on how to improve student experience throughout the university
• Aiding students in making the most of the resources that the university has to offer the new health and life sciences building
• Carry on the work from this year’s school rep
• Grow the faculty

I believe that I am qualified for this position for several reasons:

• Have been a course rep for a year and so have a good idea how the meetings work
• Have attended all the meetings and forums for the past year which assists me in knowing the best ways to put forward changes and ideas from students
• Member of two societies so know a large cross section of students
• Vice president of ice skating society and as such am used to managing and running societies as well as having a strong link with the SU
• Knowing many students both in and out of the faculty to put forward a strong and cohesive student view of the university
• Due to being an HLS student I care deeply about the future of the department
