I was born in Korea and have Korean nationality. But at the end of Year 9 in Korea, I moved to my uncle's place in Borneo island, Malaysia - a 130 million-year-old rainforest older than the Amazon.  I spent my teenage years in a multi-ethnic, -cultural and biodiverse environment, which broadened me as a whole. There are people of diverse races and cultures in the Coventry University which means that I have advantages in dealing with different people to implement the school rep role.

I have various work experiences.  I worked at a hotel as a receptionist and bar waiter to improve my interpersonal skills. As well as, I worked at a graphic design (advertising) company as an assistant designer and experienced the agony of the creating new things. Recently, I cooperated with Malaysian architect firm as a translator and local coordinator for ‘General Isabu Park’ project which was held in Samcheok, Korea. These experiences helped me to develop confidence. I am fast to adapt and not afraid to challenge new things, but rather take that as an opportunity to learn. I might have much to improve but I am eager to work harder than anyone else to be better.
