Chloe Berg, School Representative Personal Statement

I’m a compassionate and empathetic person; and my degree choice of Children and Young People’s Nursing is helping me to cultivate and further this. I enjoy listening to people’s points of views, and am happy to be challenged myself, but I am also willing to stand up against any injustice or issues.

Coming to university has helped me to develop as a person, and the opportunities that being a student representative this past year has given me have been very valuable in helping me to hone my abilities and method of representing my peers at a course level. To be able to further this next year would allow me to delve deeper in to the role and really impact upon the issues faced by students, continuing to make sure the student voice is not only heard, but acted upon to uphold this brilliant learning environment.

In short, I’m excited by the prospect of using my skills to contribute in an effective and positive way by representing my peers in the Coventry University community.
