British Universities and Colleges Sports (BUCS) is the National Governing Body for higher education sport. 
Many sports clubs at University compete on Wednesdays as part of the BUCS programme, with other sports being played at various dates in the year. Coventry University have 42 teams competing in BUCS this season, across a range of different sports.



BUCS Individual Championships:

Throughout the year, there are competitions for individuals to represent the University in a variety of sports. 
One of the largest events is the BUCS National Championships, in which students compete in various individual sports to take home the BUCS gold medal. The BUCS Championships take place in Sheffield in February, and is one of the biggest events in the BUCS calendar.
