Illustration

The Illustration Society is a group of people all enthusiastic about drawing, regardless of skill level or experience.

We meet up every Thursday in GS420 (Graham Sutherland Building) at 6pm - 7:30pm. In every session, we'll be doing drawing challenges, fundamental practice, watching animations/looking at illustrations and generally just socialising whilst doing the thing you love!
We will be organising sessions with life drawing models as well as mini-exhibitions to present some of the work you'd like to show, which is a great way of advertising your work and making new connections with like-minded people.

You can always stay in touch with what we're doing on our Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/covillustrationsociety/

Aims and Objectives:

  • Form a safe and welcoming space for creatives in the University.
  • Provide mentoring and artistic workshops to develop your skills.
  • Give opportunities to experience and see other artwork as well as to advertise your own.
  • Make an artistic and social environment that is available to students across all years.

Membership Fee

£5 for the whole academic year
