About American Football

Who are we?

We're the Coventry University Jets, an amateur American Football team that currently competes in the BUCS Premier North Division. American Football is a fast-paced, competitive contact sport and we welcome players of all abilities.

What do we do?

As well as playing we train three times a week, Tuesday 19:45-22:00 - Astro Turf - Sidney Stringer Academy, Thursday 19:25-20:45 - Classroom - George Eliot Building, Thursday 20:45-22:00 - Astro Turf - Sidney Stringer Academy.

Why should you join?

Becoming a Jet isn’t just about joining a sports team, we are a unit. We take great pride in the way we conduct ourselves. We aim for a family-like bond through the club where every member has a positive influence on one another and strives to achieve the same goal. Whether you want to work towards becoming better, faster or stronger you will always have the team there to support and guide you to reach your full potential.

What have we done in the past?

We reached the Premier North Division following three successive division titles and back-to-back promotions. Many of our players and coaching staff are involved with Midlands teams such as 2017 Britbowl champions Tamworth Phoenix and the Leicester Falcons.
