We take simple life-saving information and make it accessible by some of the world's poorest people - especially women...

Support Volunteer - Education Saves Lives

This opportunity is ongoing, with no end date.

Education Saves Lives creates simple, interactive FREE lessons on basic health and safer living. They are translated into local languages and distributed via DVDs and online so that everyone can access this vital, life-saving information. Would you be able to help in the global effort against various diseases including Coronavirus, from the safety of your own home?

If you have time to spare during lockdown, our 2021 Action project can keep you busy, give you a bigger perspective, and help communities around the world be better informed about how to prevent themselves from diseases such as malaria, HIV/AIDS and Covid-19.

You can help give as many people as possible the opportunity to see our lessons simply by:
• Researching organisations who might be able to use or share the lessons
• Making a list of the organisations you find and passing the list on to us
• Translating and recording in various local languages

The lessons: • Are streamed from the website (not downloadable) •  Viewed via DVDs • Have an optional quiz at the end to reinforce what has been learned • Lasts about 20 minutes • Are FREE to use (apart from data costs)

Our lessons explain: • What the diseases are, and how they spread • How to reduce the risk of infection • When medical help should be sought, and the importance of listening to local advice • Some of the myths around diseases and Safer living.
