Warwickshire Pride Festival Volunteer
This opportunity takes place on 20 Aug 2022
Help out at the Warwickshire Pride festival on Saturday 20th August 2022 - we need stewards and backstage assistants, plus help preparing and clearing the site, showing stall holders to their pitches, running an information stall, and litter picking/recycling. Are you ready to do your bit for Pride?
The Warwickshire Pride festival is organised by volunteers and relies on the kindness, time and talents of more volunteers on the day so that everything runs smoothly.
You'll have the opportunity to develop skills such as team work, organisation, and communication and be part of a community of volunteers who all support each other. We have a number of roles available, including stewards, backstage assistants, preparing and clearing the site, showing stall holders to their pitches, running an information stall, and litter picking/recycling.
In return for volunteering at Warwickshire Pride we can provide food/drink and two tickets to the official Warwickshire Pride after party. We will also provide access to our Proud Volunteers group on Facebook, where you can interact with a community of volunteers and keep updated with the variety of training and social opportunities that come up. You will also have our eternal thanks.
You do not need to be LGBT+ to volunteer for us, and experience is not needed. All you need is a positive, enthusiastic and open minded attitude. If you want to get more involved with Warwickshire Pride, there are opportunities for further volunteering experiences - just ask us.
