The Students’ Union Advice Centre can give advice on money, budgeting and debt matters. This can include advice on how to manage your money including tips on how to maximise income and reduce expenditure.
Our advisors can also provide practical debt advice for students, which can include preparing a breakdown of income and expenditure and completing a Common Financial Statement that can be forwarded to creditors so that they may enter a structured and sustainable debt repayment programme. Advisors will also monitor this to ensure that it is up-to-date, current and in the best interests of the student.
The Centre offers a free, independent and confidential service for all students, providing face-to-face advice via appointments and drop-ins, email and Skype advice and a telephone service.
Appointments can be booked by phone or email. Drop-in sessions are available between 11am and 1pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at Room 1.40 on the first floor of the Hub. Arranging an appointment is the best way to speak with an advisor.
To arrange your appointment email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0208 123 8205.
